Tampa Bay Cleft and Craniofacial Center consists of experienced, pioneering specialists in their respective fields. We are a team with various backgrounds, some work for Baycare, TGH, Adventhealth, USF, and some are in private practice. We look beyond our differences and come together, volunteering our time to this non-profit organization to make a difference in the world. One smile at a time.
The Tampa Bay Cleft and Craniofacial Center is an ACPA Approved Team and has met the Standards of Team Care for Cleft and Craniofacial Teams set by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA). The ACPA Commission on the Approval of Teams has determined that TBCCC is capable of providing cleft and craniofacial care in a coordinated and consistent manner, that care provided by TBCCC follows the proper sequence and takes place within the framework of the patient’s overall developmental, medical and psychological needs. ACPA Approved Teams are comprised of experienced and qualified professionals who work in an interdisciplinary and coordinated system to provide strong and reliable communication between team members, families and referring providers. All approved teams in the U.S. and Canada are listed on the ACPA website. The ACPA encourages patients and families to first consider ACPA Approved Teams for cleft and craniofacial health care needs.

Pat Ricalde, DDS, MD, FACS is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, specializing in cleft and craniofacial surgery. She is also the Director of the Fellowship for Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at the Florida Craniofacial Institute, and the Director of Tampa Bay Cleft and Craniofacial Center.

Jonathan Forman, MD is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is interested in both medical and surgical treatment of all aspects of ear, nose and throat disorders in both children and adults, as well as head and neck cancer and facial reconstructive surgery.
